Shalom
Mishpacha (family)!
A
friend and I had an interesting conversation this week about our small
fellowship and how the strengths of different people are beginning to shine
forth. It seems that for a long time we've been one homogenous bunch, but
now the different "parts of the body" are becoming
apparent. Does a body need three feet? Or 12 fingers? Or
two backs? Each part is important. We're not all the same, but
we can see how the different parts function, with Yeshua as our head, to make
up the body of Messiah. It's so interesting because
this differentiation just started happening. Has anyone else
noticed this in your group?
I
would like to do a little promo here for the upcoming Iowa
Sukkot. You can find information on this web site - http://www.sukkotiowacentral.com/ . If
you are anywhere near us and you are looking for a place to celebrate
the Feast of Tabernacles, we would LOVE to have you join us.
Thank
you so much to those who helped out the flood victims here in
Iowa. I saw one of the couples last weekend. They are living
with friends, and they did look a little zapped of energy. Yet they
were still smiling and praising YHWH, although they have no idea what
they are going to do. I would also like to ask you to pray for a friend
named Mike Miller. His body is filled with cancer and he is in need of
Divine healing. He and his wife, Jan, have very little in
the way of earthly possessions, but they have been faithful to YHWH.
I believe that as time goes on and the body of Messiah continues to piece
itself together, we will see more and more miraculous healings. How can a
toe by itself bring healing? Or an arm? Or a shoulder? But
together,as a complete body, we can powerfully pray. If
you would like to send encouragement to Mike, please do so through
Marc - mrsteben@isp01.net.
Have
a most blessed Shabbat!
